Your family built the business. What will you build next?

A selective 12-week online Family Business Leadership Programme for ambitious 18- 25-year-olds.

The NextGen 10™ is designed for young people who are already involved in a family business or intend to become involved in one.

This is not another academic business course.

It is a practical leadership and commercial development programme that helps the next generation understand the business, earn credibility and begin making a meaningful contribution.

Only 10 participants will be selected.

Programme starts: 15 September 2026

A Family Name Opens the Door. Contribution Earns Respect.

Entering a family business comes with a unique opportunity, but also a unique challenge.

You may inherit access, but you do not automatically inherit credibility.

To become valuable to the business, you must understand how it works, how it makes money, how to lead people and how to turn ideas into measurable results.

The NextGen 10™ helps emerging family-business leaders develop the commercial understanding, leadership capability and practical confidence required to earn their place.

Work on a Real Family Business Challenge

This programme is built around application, not theory.

Each participant will select a genuine challenge or opportunity inside their family business, such as:

  • Increasing sales
  • Improving customer retention
  • Reducing waste or operational errors
  • Improving stock management
  • Digitising an outdated process
  • Launching a new product or service
  • Reaching a younger market
  • Solving an operational bottleneck
  • Using technology to improve performance

During the programme, you will diagnose the opportunity, quantify its potential and develop a practical implementation plan.

By the end of the 12 weeks, you will have something valuable to take back into the business.

How the Programme Works

The NextGen 10™ is delivered online, allowing participants to join from anywhere.

The programme includes:

The Role of the Family Business

Where possible, each participant should have a senior family-business sponsor.

  • Support the participant’s development
  • Provide reasonable access to business information
  • Help identify a suitable business challenge
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Attend the final online NextGen Growth Presentation

The sponsor supports the process but does not complete the participant’s work.
